DELTA SIGMA PHI - EPSILON KAPPA

Welcome,

Delta Sigma Phi is a national social fraternity with a rich history stretching back to 1899. As a national organization, Delta Sig is dedicated to building better men; men united and guided by the ideals of courage, action, and excellence.

Here at Loyola, we apply the values and mission of our fraternity in a way that complements and enhances our members’ individual Loyola experience. First chartered in 1968, our chapter has been deeply rooted in the Loyola tradition for decades. We pride ourselves in our ability to lead and enact positive change on campus through our dedication to academics, service, justice, and of course, brotherhood.

Delta Sigma Phi is committed to its brothers not only through their years of active membership as undergraduates, but for life. The relationships, skills, and culture that this fraternity fosters are meant to be carried on by our members beyond graduation in order to prepare them for the highest level of success in their careers, but also to ensure the perpetuation of our values wherever life may take them.

The world is full of bystanders. Those who excel and make meaningful impacts are those who believe in something bigger than themselves. If you wish to make something more of your college experience, to meet some of the best friends you will ever know, and to be the better man, I encourage you to reach out to us.

“Everyone thinks of changing the world, but no one thinks of changing himself.” – Leo Tolstoy

Yours Truly,

Our Philosophy

Delta Sigma Phi and its members strive to be excellent in all they do. Brotherhood is a lifetime commitment to living our core values: Culture, Harmony, and Friendship. Together we work to not merely develop a strong fraternity based on these values, but to build better men and better leaders through our actions.

Lead Weekend

LEARN, ENGAGE, ACT, AND DEDICATE

YOURSELF TO BUILDING THE FUTURE OF DELTA SIGMA PHI

LEAD Weekend is Delta Sigma Phi’s new regional program that provides role-specific education to chapter officers and critical leadership training to non-officers. Undergraduates and volunteers will network throughout the program with each other and with Fraternity leaders to learn how to push their chapter and the Fraternity forward.

Our History

Delta Sigma Phi is a national, nonprofit Fraternity, which serves to enrich the lives of young men, and to positively impact the world through actions and influences. Founded just recently here at Loyola University Chicago, Delta Sig has grown significantly in the past two years with sixty active members, and a successful alumni base. Our mission as Delta Sig gentlemen is to help and encourage members to become better students, better leaders, better citizens, better professionals… better men.

Our Vision For 2025

Delta Sigma Phi’s vision is to become America’s Leading Fraternity, setting the standard of excellence for lifelong fraternity. The board framework will be used at all levels of the Fraternity—from undergraduate chapters and new chapters to alumni volunteers, from the average member to National Fraternity leadership. Vision 2025 ties the entire Fraternity together through common strategies, initiatives and objectives that are critical to fulfilling Delta Sigma Phi’s mission.
